Building on the success of the SwissMemory Victorinox range of combined Swiss Army Knives and USB memory keys, the s.beat takes this concept to the next logical step – slotting an MP3 player into a Swiss Army knife! The s.beat combines a truly tiny MP3 player with a slightly larger Swiss Army knife, but the whole package still only measures 74 x 22 x 24mm. Like the previous knife models, you get a blade, a pair of scissors and a nail file/screwdriver as well as the MP3 player/memory key."</i><br /><br /><img src="http://www.digitalmediathoughts.com/images/2063-sbeat1.jpg" /> <br /><br />I've had the same Swiss Army knife for nearly 30 years. It is a great tool. Never once have I wished that it had a built in MP3 player. In fact, mine has gotten wet so often, that even if it had one, it would not work anyway. On the bright side, they had the forethought to make the player removable from the knife so that you can still bring the player on an airplane. Just curious, does anyone use either one of these or one of their knife/memory key combos?

Sure, I use the Swissmemory. Works just like a $10 Victorinox knife and a $20 USB key taped together, all for the low low price of $60! But, hey, the coolness factor of plugging your swiss army knife into your computer is unbeatable. I gave one to a friend of mine and he says his coworkers with their 1GB keys are all jealous of his 64MB Swissmemory! Just because it's a swiss army knife. Go figure...

One thing I should point out: most people's swiss army knives go through a lot of abuse. I know mine does. The knife part will far outlive the memory part.

And before you call me a moron for spending so much, I got it at an employee discount. Otherwise I'd never consider a USB key that's 3 times too expensive.
