If these drives start getting bundled with new laptops, it could result in a higher installed base for one over the other.

I also read today (on my MSN Direct watch, so no link to source) that both Microsoft and Intel are supporting HD-DVD.

Rough day for Blu-ray...

As long as we get ONE standard in the next few months I'll be happy. Fat chance of that happening however. :(
