But according to Gene Munster, a Piper Jaffray analyst, the end is near. "Nobody can sustain an 80 percent market share in a consumer electronics business for more than two or three years," Munster told CNN. "It's pretty much impossible."</i><br /><br />Impossible? Many analysts expected Microsoft to unseat Apple by now. Strangely, or not so, that hasn't happened yet. Meanwhile, iPod continues to biotch slap the competition and leave everyone else choking on fumes. I've come to the point where I have stopped trying to nay-say Apple. They prove me wrong every time.<br /><br />Now where is my insulin?

As long as Steve Jobs is at the helm at Apple, they will be a force to be reckoned with in one way or another. Yeah, he has a huge ego, but he is also a genius when it comes to marketing and multimedia as well as picking smart people who can live up to what he envisions and demands for design.

The iPod line is a runaway train right now (for many good reasons) and companies better stand back until it overheats (and it will at some point) and then they can make their move and see if they can come up with a better product.

The iPod line is a great line but as a media center user and a proponent of WMA music sometimes it is a frustration. The new nano is something I have been looking for for a while, a large flash player to use while running. But alas, I don't think I will switch because I am too firmly set in the WMA camp.

For awhile I thought the Plays for Sure marketing plan was a good one and lets face it the "to go" version of Napster and yahoo are a big advantage over itunes. Now however, it seems that they have not updated the site in a while. I know Best Buy is selling new flash players by iriver that work with napster to go, but http://www.playsforsure.com/SearchResults.aspx?searchtype=GetStarted&amp;cat=SubscriptionEnabled still has not listed them.
