I particularly like the ability to pull up a specific artist of album by simply asking for it. They have a <a href="http://www.onev.com/videos/mccoverview.wmv">video demonstration</a> that makes it look quite impressive. I do wonder about the type of microphone you'd need to have this be effective - it would need to be able to pick up speech from 6-12 feet away, and I wonder about ambient noise interfering with the command recognition. Still, if you can swallow the $149 USD price tag, this looks like a compelling application for your MCE.

That looks very cool. Just not $150 cool. :( Also, I have my doubts about how well this would work for me. I have my media center in a small cabnet with the glass doors shut. So I would need to run some sort of microphone out of there. Not really something I want in my living room. :wink:

25$ or under and I'll buy it. 50$ and under including mic i'd consider it. At 150$, it's just a nice proof of concept...
