Terms of the agreement were not disclosed, but Amazon said the service would allow customers to design photo cards, calendars, photo books and gifts such as mugs, T-shirts and other personalized products."</i><br /><br />Amazon.com continues to grow into new markets, and based on all the digital photography gear they sell, this is a logical step for them to take. I've used Shutterfly's service before, and recall being happy with the prints, so I can imagine this will provide a boost for both Amazon.com and Shutterfly. Amazon gains access to a lot of digital camera owners through this partnership, and Shutterly gets the opportunity to have people order their prints while getting other Amazon.com merchandise delivered to them. Sounds like a win all around!
