View Full Version : DVD Burning outside of Premiere Elements

I use Adobe Premiere Elements for digital video editing, but have had problems with the DVD's it produces (work in some machines, not in others).

I've heard some of you say that you edit in one program, then burn with another. (Like Roxio, Nero, etc.) Exactly how do you make this work? Do you have to save/export the resultant video in a particular format? What about menus/scene selections? Do you do these in the video editor, or in the burner application?

(Right now, I export the video to DV tape, then copy it down to my Toshiba DVR, then use it to burn the DVD. These play ANYWHERE, but I'm limited to the 90 minutes available on the tape, and I'd rather not have to do the transfer.)

Thanks.
