This thing looks AWESOME - and it's much more functional than the Portable Media Center devices...hmm...I think I need to do up a post on that. ;-)

I can't tell...is this a PMC device or not. The pics don't show the typical PMC interface, but it 'PlaysForSure'.

Either way, with DivX/Xvid support, this may replace my Archos AV340 (which Archos has essentially orphaned).

Does anybody know how it deals with MS-DRM'd files?

It is not a PMC but it is fully MS DRM compatible, downloads and subscriptions.

It just jumped to the top of my list: black, landscape, large screen and WM support? At last! A true anti-pod! ;-)

This is one droolworthy device. I was eyeballing the specs and capabilities of it when it was released, and I gotta say, this is dressed to impress. Yep, I want one. :P

I wonder how it compares to the Archos jukebox size-wise?

Anybody know about Media Center recorded files (.dvr-ms)?

Damn nice device, now all I have to do is convince my wife that the AV340 needs to be replaced. :D

I have sometimes been an early adopter, but I have never until now bought a product on pre-order. So I guess I am really excited Creative's Zen Vision. I was intriqued by Creatives Portable Media Player, but it clearly was a first generation product and there was no "wow" factor. The Vision has "wow." I have worn out my Zen Micro and was looking to buy a new one. I may still, but not until after the Vision arrives. I like the idea of taking all of the digitial contents of my computer with me and annoying new groups of friends and colleagues with my snaps and my eclectic choice in music. Video will be new for me, so I assume I transfer my own Mini DV produtions via computer or trasnfer downloadable stuff.

Sorry if I seem to excited about this product, I think this one is a winner!

I see there is a CF adapter to multi-format flash storage.. good for backing up those digital camera pictures on MMC/SD or Memory Stick..

White or Black options.. heh .. I bet if you get white many ppl will think its a new iPod or something.

hmmm..
