Perenson has a good overview of the current state of the high-definition DVD war that's brewing between the Blu-Ray and HD-DVD camp. I always think of Blu-Ray as being just Sony, but seeing Apple, Dell, and Hewlett-Packard on that list reminded me that it has most of the technology heavy hitters on it's team. I've been fairly anti-Blu-Ray because I'm fairly anti-Sony, but after reading this article and seeing the difference between HD-DVD and Blu-Ray, I think Blu-Ray is a better option for consumers. This is a great article that will bring you up to speed - worth the read!
