Let's drill into it a little bit because this is the stuff that I probably get the most excited about. Think of the Xbox 360 Marketplace as your one-stop-shop for all of your downloadable content, both for games and for other forms of digital entertainment. It's not just games, but obviously games are at the heart of it... You'll be able to download fully playable game demos and even standard and high definition video footage of game play. That will help people figure out what their next game purchase is going to be without having to go over to a PC in another room in the house to do that research. This is also the place where people will download skins and themes for the software, in order to personalize it like we talked about."</i><br /><br /><img src="http://www.digitalmediathoughts.com/images/xbox360_guiderev_03.jpg" /><br /><br />The XBox chatter is getting more an more interesting. This is part 2 of a two-part article. Part 1 can be found <a href="http://www.winsupersite.com/showcase/xbox360_inside.asp">here</a>. Very interesting read.

MAN that's sweet - I'm so all over the 360...I wasn't nearly this excited about the original Xbox. And this is only Microsoft's second kick at the can, so I can only imagine what the third gen unit will look like. It's going to be an Xbox 360 Christmas baby! Oh yeah! :D

But you can bet that some time this Fall, Sony will start leaking information too. I think that will cut into some of the XBox 360 sales.

I'll be excited about an xbox when I can get some quality RPGs for it. :(

Right now, neither xbox nor ps3 are showing any exciting games. I'll wait and see who gets the goodies.

If history is any indicator, the PS3 will be the RPG king.

Have you tried Jade Empire? It's awesome - easily the best RPG I've played on a console game. And if you're a Final Fantasy fan, that will be coming to the Xbox...

I haven't, no. But I'm a huge Bioware fan, so I suspect it is of the same quality as all their other RPGs.

As for FF, isn't it just going to be FF 11 ported? I have no interest in going through all that again.

The PS3 seems to be getting pricier and less feature-rich as the weeks roll by. I'm all for XBOX 360 at the moment. While there will always be the hard-core gamers who will purchase the PS3 for the sake of simply owning it, I think Microsoft will end up biting into some of Sony's sales this time round.

As for the Revolution, bleh. ;)
