Could sure lead to some interesting responses. My luck, all the inappropriate song titles would come up when e-mailing my parents and all those guilty pleasure songs that I like but would never admit to will come up when e-mailing my friends.

You actually like that plugin?

I don't like it.. it's like spam. You're basically just giving away free advertising space as I imagine the artist and title click through to a similar URL to the one defined in Messenger 7.0. I do know the click-through stats for that though and they are pretty damned high.

Personally I couldn't give a rats what someone is listening to when they send me an e-mail. If someone finds some music they think I'll like they'll usually just tell me about it.

The original purpose of development was to add currently playing song information in a blog post. Not a bad idea on a personal blog to reflect your current mood. :D

Support for Outlook Express means it could also be used in Newsgroup posting in signatures. Of course, it can also be used in basic e-mails too.

Nothing is ever for everyone, which would explain why Zach coded it for his personal use. 8)

I think it is interesting, I would not use it for the reasons I mentioned in the above post. (Note, the Chris in the e-mail is not me it is just a conincidence.) I've seen this in blog postings before and thought it was neat there (as ChrisL01 mentioned it give you a little more insight into the sender). The only part of the ad portion of it I don't like is the blatent plug for WMP 10.
