The system requirements are Windows XP, Windows Media Player 9 Series, 2.4 GHz processor or equivalent, 384 MB of RAM, 64 MB video card, 1024 x 768, screen resolution, 16-bit sound card, and Speakers. Oh, and you will need a high speed connection because these are over 200 MB.

I'm not surprised. They're really designed to showcase the wonder of HD in WMP. If there were a streaming feed your picture quality would be subject to the whims of your bandwidth.

Although WMV-HD wouldn't be the choise for HDTV offering, I'd like to see Microsoft pump out a few dozen HD films just for the heck of it. After all, they're the only company who can offer such content at the moment.
When I carry my x360 home next november, I want to have a plenty of HDTV movies to go with it.
I bet this kind of reaching out for (poor european) HDTV freaks wouldn't really hurt the sales of x360 either..

You'd need an OC3 to stream files this heavy.
