The concept system is designed with the Living room in mind, to look smaller, simpler, and more convenient in everyday use. This is merely a design mockup, not an actuall working unit however.

But AOpen is introducing it's own system called "Pandora" that flat out copies Mac mini right down to the last little screw. I can't wait to see Apple's litigation machine in full force once they catch a whiff of this thing.

Interesting . . . "Pandora" -- Pandora's Box.
AOpen probably shouldn't have opened this one, either.

I think it's utterly pathetic that the Windows world is so full of people that lack imagination and the intestinal fortitude to forge ahead and create new computing designs. Shuttle and the other OEMs making SFF computers seem to be the only ones trying to break any new ground.

I just got a loaded Mac Mini and friend, that clone can't touch it
The mini is a nice little system - the only complaint about it is that I tried it on some of my CRT monitors and on some...SOME of them the complaints that the display is dim are true. I dunno what that's about but I found it to be valid on a couple of them - a little disappointed with Apple about that but other than that, no complaints here.

Well, here's hoping that Start Something (http://www.startsomethingpc.com/) yields something a little more original in the future.
