Despite its relatively low price tag, this is an impressive screen that’s easy to set up, very well featured and most centrally, has decent image quality. Nit picking image purists may find be able to find fault, but the sheer scale of the screen coupled with its record breaking price will ensure that this screen will find a lot of customers, though due to limited availabilty they'll have to be patient."</i><br /><br /><img src="http://www.digitalmediathoughts.com/images/Dell24LCD.jpg" /><br /><br />Wow! That Dell 2405FPW looks... amazingly sweet! After seeing Dell's 20-inch LCD screens in real life, I can't help wondering how sweet this "upgraded" version looks. According to the review, the new 24-incher is so much better with integrated memory card readers and more input alternatives to choose from. If you are thinking of getting this Dell, then be sure to read this review first! ;) (I know I'd want one now)

This is bad. Bad, Bad, BAD! Now I'm back on the Dell website looking at plasma and LCD TV's. Must close browser.... But they need me, they want me. Argh! Close, NOW.

I LOVE my Dell 20" widescreen monitor. A friend is looking at a Dell system and I have been working hard to talk him into this 24" model.

Its great having TV (ReplayTV actually) running Picture-In-Picture in the top corner while working fullscreen on my computer. But wait, you say, you can do that with a tuner card in your TV. Ah, but when I reboot my computer, the video is still playing in the corner. When I'm done with the computer, I can turn it off and switch the monitor to fullscreen TV. It is really nice having options like this.

If only you could switch inputs with a remote.

I've been using this LCD since it came out... I can honestly say this is one of the best purchases I've ever made.... :)

I would love to get this monitor too except it is hard to justify the 2x price this has over 2005FPW which can be had for ~$400.

(Before anyone mentions this, I have the ATI HDTV Wonder so I could actually use a monitor that is 1920 pixels wide.)

16 ms response time, too.

Drool. :onfire:

16ms didn't sound right. I remember when I was ordering my 20" that it was a 12ms response time. I just looked on Dell's site at the 24", and it says that it, too, is 12ms.
