CF I/O Transfer Error

I have a Lexar 2GB 80 time write speed Professional CF Card. I shot a wedding over the weekend and I cannot transfer all of the images over to the laptop. The camera can sees and recognizes the files, but, there is some sort of I/O error and transferring stops after about 20 images (I have over 300). Is there anyway to save and transfer my photos?

Turned out I could transfer the pics over by putting the card in my HP 2510 printer CF reader. I re-formatted the card and hopefully won't run into this problem again.
