If you're looking for an OTG (On The Go) solution, have a look at what the Korean company SavitMicro presents: a USB2 HDTV solution for PC's. This box offers a very complete solution, including time-shifting, EPG and capture in 1080i (for images). Audio 5.1 is also supported (if your PC has that function of course) and you can save your videos (but here, I'm not sure if it will be in HD)."</i><br /><br /><img src="http://www.digitalmediathoughts.com/images/usbtvtuner.jpg" /><br /><br />Very cool. I don't know when something like this would be available in the US or how much it would cost but I think I would stand in line for something like this. :)

This device appears to be running around $170 USD in Korea. I'd gladly pay $150-250 for it, USD.

That is cool. I can't believe how small it is! I have a PCI HD tuner, and it looks smaller than that!

Unfortunately I bought my laptop JUST before USB 2.0 got popular and it was still expensive, so it only has firewire, and usb 1.1. :x

Anyone know of a similar item that is available in the US now? It doesn't even have to be cute and small: Just HDTV with USB is fine with me. I've been searching, but only found one from a closed manufacturer, Sasem(so no more support/drivers).
