Am I the only one or does anyone else think it's kind of a rip off that WMP doesn't display thumbnails of videos instead of (or in addition to) just dry folder statistics.
Personally I can't think of another player that does this. Yet the odd thing is, is that if you change to a thumbnail view of any folder that contains videos, you will get a thumbnail of the first frame of that video.
I don't know why something that is built right into the operating system isn't being exploited by media players. I would much rather look at a thumbnail of my videos to remind me of what they are than trying to remember what I named them and why.

Yeah, I agree completely - the photo/video components of the library seem like they were added on as an afterthought and lack a lot of basic features.
