Laptop Video S Vid Out Not Centered???

I just picked up an HP dv1170 and when I hooked the S video out up to my 57" Hitachi the playback isn't centered on the screen and there are black bars on the left and right.
Anyone else experience this or have a fix?

Unfortunately, I've seen this with every device that has ever had S-Video output. In general, it's always crap. :-( The best you can do is use your TV's adjustment settings to try and get it centered (if you can).
