<div class='os_post_top_link'><a href='http://www.physorg.com/news3273.html' target='_blank'>http://www.physorg.com/news3273.html</a><br /><br /></div><i>"Until now 3D displays have been developed for only one viewer. Christian Moller a research student here at the Department is working on a 3D display where the viewing zone is equal to that of any television allowing an unlimited number of people to view at any one time. The display is very easy to scale and is flat panel. Part of the success of this new display is being able to use the Wedge technology developed by Dr Adrian Travis here at the Department to make this display flat panel."</i><br /><br /><img src="http://www.digitalmediathoughts.com/images/3d_displays1.jpg" /><br /><br />This would be so cool to have already today. Sadly, it seems like we will have to wait a few years for Superman to start flying out of our television sets. ;)

Living in the early 21st century sure is exciting, we have all this great stuff and most things that are even a few years old now look ancient to us.

The worst part is that we have all these exciting technologies just around the corner, but still in so, SO far in distance :(. Everything neat is working on the paper at the moment, but consumer products take too much time to realize.

It's easy to be impatient these days, isn't it?

It'd be nice for it to become a little more "standard" and technologically improved upon.

Sharp's Actius RD3D (http://www.sharpsystems.com/products/pc_notebooks/actius/rd/3d/) never really took off, but the best stuff may just be around the corner. ;)
