I have a RCA 2012 and its has the capability to play mp3pro. Is converting all my music to that worth it or not?

MP3Pro is utterly and completely dead - best to avoid it.

So what is the best format to use? Most of my songs are mp3 but some are wma.

WMA is probably smaller in size than the average mp3, but isn't as universal as mp3 is. iPods can't play WMA and probably never will and neither can Sony. If you feel like you are going to stick with WMA players (iRiver, Creative, Rio, etc), then WMA is a good choice. If you are unsure of where you see yourself, MP3 might be a better choice.
