What's more, it also offers the power of 5.0 effective megapixels and a 3X optical zoom lens incorporating PENTAX’s unique Sliding Lens System. Developed in line with the OptioS series concept of being “stylish and ultra-compact to enable it to be worn like an accessory”, there's so much more to the OptioS5n than its stylish, elegant appearance. Indeed<br />with an easy-to-see 2.0-inch large LCD monitor, a useful Mode Palette function that simplifies shooting and playback and the advantage of MPEG-4 file format for high-quality, extended duration movies, the OptioS5n is every bit as versatile as it is attractive."<br /><br /><img src="http://www.digitalmediathoughts.com/images/1.JPG" /> <br /><br />Pentax has a new ultra-compact. Nice feature set in a compact body. Note for you international travelers, the charger should work just about anywhere. Should set you back £249.99 (approx $386).

I've been waiting for years for this camera!! I've owned 4 different Pentax cameras and have loved every one of them. Finally, the killer features are all in one teeny package for me, and it fits in an Altoids can. The TV-quality video recording limited only by the capacity of the the memory card is the key thing in my book. I don't video enough stuff to justify owning a video camera, plus you never have it handy when you need it, but with a beautiful piece of equipment like this, you'll never miss a shot again!!

The only thing I don't understand with Pentax is their almost complete lack of advertising. I think they have superior products, but nobody has heard of them and at most major electronic stores, they are lucky to have a camera on display.
