The V-Gear PocketTV X weighs 780g and encodes the TV shows in real time into MPEG-1,MPEG-2, DivX5.2, with a resolution of 720 x 480 at 30fps. A very nice solution… and affordable too (less than 50 Euros), but only drawback is that it’s NTSC only."

Well, with the PocketTV X you can get NTSC TV encoded into DivX without any knowledge of nuclear fission and fusion and in a small, handy, pocket-able size. The only thing you might have to worry about is codec hell on your desktop PC. :?

Ffdshow - the only codec that one needs!

Well, that may be a slight exaggeration but it is the best one out there, in my opinion, and open source to boot.
