They also show a price of $549. Looks like a nice mid-level camera for those that want something feature rich but don't want to make the jump to a digital SLR.

This camera is the goods! I've had it for around two months now, and I have to say that it's well worth considering if you're out looking for a decent camera!

It looks like a great camera - I really like the specs and so on, but I wish these cameras had nothing less than 5x optical zooms (no more 3x and 4x!), and it seems like it's awfully thick.
Isn't it around 2" thick? As cool as the camera seems, that's a bit of a beast for a point and shoot - not very compact. But then again, maybe it's not meant to be.

It's actually not as thick as it seems. For the high-end specs, this really is considered "compact" (in comparison to other cameras out there with similar specs). Head down to a camera store and hold it in your hand -- as long as you're not after an ultra-compact camera, you'll be able to appreciate the fact that you're getting quality specs in a reasonable shell.

And it comes in black! I can't stand silver gadgets, tbh. Black looks professional and understated. =D
