Apple And Pepsi, Deja Vu All Over Again

Only this time they've upped the ante. Last year the duo gave away over 100 million songs with specially marked Pepsi bottles. This year it has doubled; 200 million. That's a lot of sugar water. But that's not all. In addition, 2,000 iPod Minis will be given away as well. Don't you wish they were giving away 200 million Minis instead of the songs? Me too. <br /><br />As exciting as this promotion sounds, I am somewhat concerned. Last time around this contest wasn't exactly a smashing success, thanks in no small part to Pepsi dropping the ball (sorry, had to toss a Football reference in here somewhere ;) ). Will the outcome be any different this time? We'll have to wait and see. <br /><br />Oh, and by the way...Pepsi sucks! Hmmm . . . whether I'm interested in this at all will certainly depend on whether the Patriots are playing in the Super Bowl. Otherwise, I will have my own little football blackout in effect on that day.

OK, I'm going to be the contrarian here. I like Pepsi products much better than Coke products. Right now, I'm way into Diet Dr. Pepper.

I was raised a Pepsi drinker but since going on a diet last year I have been drinking more Diet Cherry Coke.... until last week when I found Diet Wild Chery Pepsi has been released!!!

Last year when Pepsi &amp; Apple did this give away I managed to get about 60 to 70 songs. Looking forward to doing some shopping again this year too.

I beg to differ on that, Coke tastes hella nasty, kind of like if you drank your own throw up then threw it up again and drank that :pukeface: (well it's not really that bad, but I prefer Pepsi). :lol:
