New Camera

I just got myself a Canon SD300 and have been enjoying it a lot. I'm new to this side of the world as I come from the SmartPhone side :)

Anything I should know about my new toy other than what's in the manual?

The SD300 is a great little camera - I've owned a string of Canon cameras (S100, S110, G4, Digital Rebel) and they make excellent cameras.

Unlike a computing device though, it's not extensible - if it does what you want it to do, as in take good pictures, that's about it. ;-) You can always work on improving your photography skills though! :D
