This sounds like it could easily have gone disastrously wrong but fortunatley iRiver have actually managed to pull it off. The player is less than seven centimetres long and hangs off a chord so you can wear it like a necklace. In a neat touch the supplied in-ear headphones are actually attached to the chord so that when you’re not listening to them they can be secured to the clips on either side."</i><br /><br /><img src="http://www.digitalmediathoughts.com/images/mp3hand.jpg" /><br /><br />Looks like an impressive device, but only USB 1.1? Come on iRiver, you should know better than that.

We were contemplating getting this for my mom because she wanted an MP3 player that looks classy or like jewelry, and this is a classy looking player, but it's a little pricey. We ended buying the Walmart SD MP3 player for $80, it doesn't look as nice, but for the price you can't beat the feature set.

The N10 is not terribly expensive at $179 for a 256MB edition when there are plenty of other 256MB players out there for around $150. I'd be willing to fork over an extra $50 over competitors for the design.

The one thing I don't like is the USB adapter on this thing... I can see myself losing this and not being able to sync music....

FYI > CompUSA's selection of 200-300MB Mp3 players sorted by price:

Yeah, I like the look of this one too and I'd pay a little extra to have one that's this small and classy looking. I was worried about the included earbuds thing, because that's a very personal choice, but it also comes with the option of using your own. I don't think losing the USB dongle would be a big deal. It looks like it's standard USB (large and small) on each side, so you'd be able to sync it with any USB-A to USB-B cable if you lost the dongle.
