Blockbuster Video, whom has struggled immensely to gain a toehold, is cutting prices aggressively to steal customers away from rival Netflix. In response Netflix says it will NOT cut costs, and expressed its lack of concern for Blockbuster's move. Which is probably true given Blockbuster's small chunk of the market. It's Wal-mart that keeps Netflix executives sleeping with one eye open at night.
