Its answer is the Logitech Media Play Cordless Mouse. <br />The ambidextrous mouse is like most others on first glance. It is has two click buttons, a four-way scroll wheel and forward and backward buttons on the right hand side. The mouse is a combination of shinny plastic and rubber (for extra grip around the edges) and overall sits snugly in the plam of your hand."<br /><br /><img src="http://www.digitalmediathoughts.com/images/mediaplay1.gif" /> <br /><br />Is this your wireless, button-filled dream mouse? ;) The Logitech Media Play mouse might be the Swiss army knife of computer mouses, or at least in terms of functionality squeezed into it. However, I can't help but wonder how well this mouse would work with games, though. :?

I've got an older Logitech wireless mouse and one thing I've found is that if you hold the mouse button down for a long time - for example, if you are drawing in Photoshop - the display stops redrawing properly until you let go of the mouse button. This is very weird and extremely frustrating. I don't know if they've corrected this problem with newer mice like this one.

Wireless definitely makes a big difference to a workspace. I find it much easier to use my wireless mouse than my wired keyboard. I'm often trying to adjust the position of my keyboard on my desk and get frustrated when the cable tensions because it is trapped between the desk and the wall.

Logitech's MX700 is as good as a wired mouse, however it has a very short battery life; 3-5 days maximum before it needs a recharge.

I think this mouse is pretty neat. How good it will be will depend on Logitech's bundled software.

I've been using the Bluetooth Logitech DiNovo keyboard and mouse combi for some while and found that the MX900 (Bluetooth) optical mouse is quite efficient for gaming and normal use. I've also gotten a habit of letting the mouse charge on the station every 2nd or 3rd night just depending on use so that it will never run out of juice. ;)

Btw, Logitech had annouced a re-release of the DiNovo combi but now with Bluetooth version 1.2 which should be more battery efficient and better at frequency jumping than the 1.1 version that I've got. Anyone here got this combi yet perhaps? :)
