The multi-GPU technology from ATI will presumably be branded as Multi Rendering and will have a number of fundamental shifts from technologies of this kind, sources said. The main thing ATI is currently working on is how to enable two different graphics cards to work in pair, providing enhancements to gamers who use the technology"</i><br /><br />I have been waiting for this news for some time from ATI since nVidia had come up with it a few months ago. But, not to be outdone by nVidia's SLI technology, ATI is looking to their own multi-VPU strategy. "Multi Rendering" technology is said to offer a few key benefits over SLI technology so I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

Hmmm.... do I smell wide-screen cross-screen gaming coming our way? ;)

That is my hope. The problem is that games just end up stretching the content across multiple screens instead of showing more data.
