"Sony will be releasing the "DVP-F35P" vertical-standing DVD player on October 15th in Japan, which includes among other things, MP3 playback. Of course this has nothing to do with the company's announcement a couple weeks ago that they would be including MP3 support in their portable audio players - because this isn't a portable audio player."

I guess this is typical of Sony. A nice looking player that is just too expensive. Sure it supports mp3 playback and jpeg viewing, but at $150 it is priced WAY to high. There are many nice Apex players that can do the same thing as the Sony DVP-F35P, yet cost 1/4 the price.
