In the past year, we’ve reviewed accessories ranging from Monster’s iSpeaker Portable to Altec Lansing’s inMotions and Tivoli’s iPAL, each product designed distinctly to offer its own price and performance trade-offs. Today, we prepare to re-open the controversy with reviews of two new Altec speaker systems, the iM3 ($179.95), a third-generation inMotion designed for use with all Dock Connecting iPods, and the iMmini ($129.95), designed solely for use with the iPod mini.</i>"<br /><br /> <img src="http://www.digitalmediathoughts.com/images/07.jpg" /> <br /><br />Another speaker system for the iPod and iPod mini. These speaker systems are really getting refined and no system currently travels as well, these Altec speakers fold up really nice and the IR remote makes using the iPod across the room no problem.

Interesting, I just posted a review (http://www.shinyplastic.com/archives/09-24-04-reviews-altec-lansing-inmotion-review.php) of the older inMotion speakers and loved them.

The older inMotion is almost the same internally as these, main difference are in the exterior styling. I would recommend then to any iPod owner that isn't a major audiophile.

I don't get it - I wonder why speaker reviews would be controversial?
