It is supposed to feature a 16.7 megapixel sensor (4992 x 3328 pixels), have both CF and SD memory card slots, larger buffer (4 images per second up to 11 images RAW or 32 JPEG), and a bazillion options to tweak for that perfect image.

Other features, and this has been compiled after confirming with several different (rumour) sources - ISO: 100-1600 (ext 50-3200), 45 AF-points, 1/8000-30 sec, 2 inch 223,000 pixel LCD TFT Screen, 20 Personal preferences with 65 instances, 27 Personal functions, and weight of 1215g + 335g battery (NP-E3), 16.7 megapixel sensor. However, Photokina is only a few days away, so we will probably know for certain soon.
