View Full Version : iRiver H100 Series Firmware v1.60?

I just noticed that the iRiver site has a new firmware for the h100 series, but when I downloaded it and tried to upgrade, nothing happened. (I still boot up with v1.40.) Anyone else tried to d/l v1.60 and had it work, or is it just me?

Hmm, I just downloaded it and upgraded my iRiver iHP 140 and it worked fine. Try it again. Make sure to follow the instructions (http://www.iriveramerica.com/support/H100_upgrade.aspx) carefully.

BTW, I don't know whether anyone else noticed this but after I upgraded my firmware to v. 1.60, it seems like the maximum volume on the device is a lot lower than it was with v. 1.40. In fact, in general, all the sounds seems a little lower, i.e. about 10-15%.
