The dv1000 crams all the characteristics of a multimedia machine into a very sleek 5.4-pound chassis, plays your DVD movies flawlessly on the high-gloss BriteView 14.1-inch widescreen—and doesn't even require booting up to do so."

Well, I didn't have to wait long to read a review of this new notebook from HP. PC World dug it - four out of five stars - and only dinged it for performance, which isn't the main goal of this notebook. Tempting...but I still have my heart set on a zd7000 series notebook.
