Shane Robison, HP's chief strategy and technology officer, said at a conference here that the announcement, which will be made in about 10 days, is designed to curb copyright infringement though an unspecified form of digital rights management (DRM) technology. If they are going to produce a media hub, I guess it should be compatible with the hPod and if so, does that mean Quicktime and AAC? If they don't support the hPod, then what is the point?

I guess this was inevitable since both Gateway and Dell sell TVs and other A/V gadgets. Not sure what they are "inventing" anymore.
