Web browsers accessing the site's "secure server" did not detect the use of any form of encryption, however, possibly implying that the site is not legitimate. The site is registered to an "admin" email address at DVDXcopy.com, one of the URLs used to sell the 321 Studios DVD ripping software. A lookup of the registration information reveals that the site's tech contact is Doff Wu, also listed in conjunction with a Taipei address. Wu could not be contacted at press time for comment.</i>"<br /><br /> <img src="http://www.digitalmediathoughts.com/images/305389_f.gif" /> <br /><br />The site seems down right now so it might not be legit. I guess it really is only a matter of time before someone in India or China makes a similar program and gives it away for free and there will be nothing the RIAA or MPA can do about it.

I hope someone in another country does exactly this. I've been wanting to get my hands on a copy of this software - the version that existed before it was watered down/changed.

Anyone have a copy they want to sell?

Have you tried eBay? I bet someone has one for sale there...

PLENTY of copies for sale on eBay - some less &lt;ahem> legal than others by the looks of things

It's a VERY effective piece of software, works like a dream and very fast.

So which one exactly do I need to look out for? Gold or Platinum? And I wouldn't want to get the newer versions that can't do what the originals did.

Can someone point me in the right direction? Tell me what version I need to be looking for?
