When centered in front of the display, each eye receives the correct visual information for the brain to process. I have seen similar products at most of the past CeBIT and PCExpo type shows and they have been a source of instant headache for my friends (although I have been able to cope due to the large amount of time I spend gaming). But the claim is that the technology is getting better and less disorienting for the user. Another feature worth mentioning is that the Sharp LL-151-3D monitor is a 3D LCD display that can be switched between 2D and 3D display modes with the touch of a button. It is available now for just under $1500.
