<div class='os_post_top_link'><a href='http://news.designtechnica.com/article4940.html' target='_blank'>http://news.designtechnica.com/article4940.html</a><br /><br /></div><i>"BMW is offering a combo watch/MP3 player that features 256MB of onboard storage and an integrated USB cable. BMW's cleverly named BMW MP3 Watch is a wristwatch with a built-in digital audio player. The watch features 256MB of onboard storage and can record voice memos as well. Besides playing MP3 files, the watch can also play WMA files and be used as a storage drive. Voice memos are recorded as WAV files."</i><br /><br /><img src="http://www.digitalmediathoughts.com/images/bmw_watch.jpg" /><br /><br />This obviously comes right off the heels of the iPod/BMW news. Now BMW is making a media centered watch. Hmm, maybe BMW is shifting focus from cars to digital tech. :-P Available from BMW-Online, the BMW MP3 Watch retails for $275.

All they did is take my watch (https://www.laks.com/page.php?lang=en&laks_s=off&land=&name=future&art_id=97), take off the Laks logo and stick on the BMW logo. Oh and charge more for it.

Dumb move, BMW. What's next, BMW bottle water?

This really cheapens the brand.

Dumb move, BMW. What's next, BMW bottle water?

This really cheapens the brand.

Like the SUV or the 2-series?
Or the new ducktail look?
Or the quality-control problems of late?

At least now you know what priorities BMW management has...
