Let's start with the TH-SW5 (530 Euros): this system comes with the Digital Wireless system, that transmits the sound to the rear speakers via a radio transmitter (2.4Ghz). Let's move on to the TH-DD7 (670 Euros): this system does not have the wireless function, but with the DD speakers, it's looking for the purest sound possible. A DVD player with the DVD-Audio function is included in the bundle."</i><br /><br /><img src="http://www.digitalmediathoughts.com/images/jvcwireless.jpg" /><br /><br />This is cool because you can really hide your rear speakers with no hassle of hiding the cables. And at 2.4GHz, it supports more than enough data transfer for great quality sound. Seems like a nice price for the set of features that this unit comes with.

Sounds very cool - but what about power? Are the rear speakers battery powered, or is the assumption that you'll heave access to an AC plug? I suppose that would usually be the case, although not always.

Similar products out have a wireless receiver that is plugged into the AC and then standard speaker wire runs from the wireless receiver to the speakers themselves. I suspect that this is the same.
