This 4x zoom camera also allows movie recording at 30fps and has dictaphone capabilities. It has a brushed metal sliding lens and can be recharged via AC adapter or through the USB connector. The camera appears to be available now for under $320. Nice.

Female-friendly?
OOoooohhh!
What century are they living in that they think that kind of talk will sell cameras?
Don't they know we live in an age of busybody-enforced political correctness?

Now if they had said "young-teens" they would have been safe.
It does look like a cute enough entry-level camera.
And the blush-pink color will certainly appeal to the Hello Kitty tweens.
But female friendly?
Ouch!

This is right up there with Toyota uglying-up the RAV4 because "too many women" were buying it and hurting its "butch" image.

I just liked the camera for what it is, I don't really get the female friendliness aspect that much as well.

BTW, you are kidding about the RAV4, right?

Sadly, no.

The terms used by the Toyota execs were more diplomatic (stuff about the customer ratio and wanting a more aggressive look to the vehicle to attract more male buyers) but the reviewers made the point that sales were something like 60% female for the previous version of the RAV4.

Oh yes, the previous RAV4 mini was way cute.
