Kyocera is announcing a new line of digital cameras that match the iPod Mini color schemes. I'm sure all of you are eager to own a pink camera. I know I am. <br /><br /><img src="http://www.digitalmediathoughts.com/images/finecam_mini.jpg" />

I don't like these particular colours, but I do like the idea of being able to buy a camera in a few different colours. It's all about personal style! :-)
...though truth be told I'd probably always buy the black one. I can just see it now..."Look, here comes the photographer...with his pink camera. That really inspires confidence in me."

I'm not into the whole pastel color scheme. The silver one's not bad though.

I'm with dean.. I don't like the pastel colors all that much.
I really like Canon's SD10 digital lineup. The colors look bold and sexy at the same time...

Why is it in N America we only get silver?
For Japan the Contax SL300R T* came in a black and a gold (http://www.kyocera.co.jp/prdct/optical/camerabody/sl300rt/index.html) model and the SL400R comes in mini pastels and 2 holographic (http://www.kyocera.co.jp/prdct/optical/camerabody/sl400r/index.html) models (which I think are ugly). Europe gets the best ones in the 4 elements (http://www.presse.kyoceradigital.de/bilder_einzelanfertigung.php) models, of which earth and water are pretty cool.
I've been thinking of buying one of the SL400R for snowboarding due to it's 4fps ability (until the SD is full) but am glad I waited to see how this will compare to the Epson (http://www.digitalmediathoughts.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=5957)

Hey, it's never too late to get into a bustling industry. Besides, I bet that 80% of Americans buy whatever they see and like at a retail store.

Completely OT - but it is interesting that not only are digital audio players all called iPods now, but colors are now being referred to as iPod mini colors rather than pastel or some such. It is not even like it is a media thing. Regular companies are going with the trend. :)

Kind of reminds us how everything was the color of iMacs back when they where the hot thing. :Fade-color

Hah!
Apple invented colours as well? What will they think of next?
Agree with dean_shan - the silver one is the only decent one of this sorry lot.
