That’s what <a href="http://www.vivadi.com/">Vivadi</a>, a start-up company based in Swindon UK, is trying to do. Vivadi has designed and developed a fully integrated 46-inch Plasma TV that combines a Media Gateway DVD recorder, Personal Video Recorder, and Music Server together with a powerful Dolby surround sound system creating what they call the "world’s first fully integrated, convergence home cinema TV." They also claim that the system can be upgraded and "future-proof," but really? I mean, you shell out more money to upgrade, which makes it sometimes cheaper to just replace the whole thing. Anyways, the <a href="http://www.vivadi.com/products.html">Vivadi Saturn and Venus Plasma TVs</a> will be available in the U.K. this Fall -- U.S. market availability TBD.</i>"<br /><br /> <img src="http://www.digitalmediathoughts.com/images/vivadi_saturn.jpg" /> <br /><br />With features such as DVD+RW recorder, USB and Firewire, Music Server (MP3 and WMA) as well as internet access, this could be the perfect way to get is all. Now I just need to clear off my credit cards and make room. :shocked!:

Nice product. All they need to do is integrate an Xbox, and a PS2 with Logitech wireless controllers, an SD slot for viewing photos, and a small integrated printer to print out anything you see and capture on screen, and you'd be set!

I'm assuming internet capability would include a remote keyboard and mouse touchpad of some sort, and a killer remote (hopefully something like a Philips Pronto Pro TSU7000, perhaps? :D ).

Question is, how much is this thing?

From the site . . .

"Price around £25,000 complete."

With a conversion rate of 1 GBP = 1.84261 USD that is about $46,000 US.
