One needs a paid registration to get more access to that data but if you look really closely to the image here, it looks like there is a DVD drive in the unit as well. I wonder whether that is a DVD burner so one could copy off data from the DVR (one site claims it is VHS but the translation from Japanese did not work very well so I am not sure). Of course, for a whopping price of just under $2K, I think it should come with the kitchen sink as well. It is available in Japan, like all tech goodies are, but luckily for us it will be available outside of Japan by next month or so.
