Toppoly, according to the Taiwan Economic News, will be able to churn out 100,000 big panels a year in 2006, when the factory is up and running."<br /><br />Why is this important? Well a 3 Watt LCD screen would mean a much longer battery life than current LCDs (which use 10 Watts or more). These <a href="http://www.theinquirer.net/?article=15109">3 Watt LCDs</a> could show up in just about everything from handhelds and notebooks, to TVs and appliances.
