DiMAGE X31 is a user-friendly, compact digital camera equipped with a Konica Minolta proprietary non-protruding 3X optical zoom that keeps the camera thin, even when the zoom is on. The new release features 3.2-megapixel high picture quality and is one of the slimmest and lightest cameras in its class."

The X31, labeled as fast, thin and cool, is the three megapixel version of the two megapixel X21 announced back in February. It is very much like the other DiMAGE X series cameras with the 'folded optics' lens system that fits vertically in the camera body. This allows for a prism mirror to fold the optical path through 90 degrees and this is how the camera remains so slim and maintains a very fast startup time. Looks very cool. Did any of you end up getting the X21 in the mean time?
