Simple Player?

I figured my post would be lost in the 5 page thread about media players, and mine's somewhat different anyhow. In any case...

I'm on a search to find a simple audio player. I want it to be able to play mp3's and perhaps playlists while it hides quietly in the background where it belongs. The closest I've found is Winamp 2, but it has such a bad randomizer (or whatever it's called). Anyone find/desire something like this?

As far as "hides in the background" goes, you could try PowerMenu (http://www.veridicus.com/tummy/programming/powermenu/), which has the option to minimize any program to the tray.

Hmm I'll check that out... but by "hide in the background" I meant use up as little resources as possible. :wink:
