This product certainly needs no introduction - Windows XP is the most stable, user-friendly, and powerful operating system Microsoft has ever released. Windows XP Professional adds several useful features over Windows XP Home, my personal favourite being the ability to log into your computer remotely using Remote Desktop (http://www.geek.com/news/geeknews/2003Aug/fea20030828021469.htm). If you're not using Windows XP, you should be - period. It's light years ahead of Windows 9x, and more advanced than Windows 2000. Once SP2 comes out, it will be even better! And hey, we're giving away ten free copies at a retail value of $299 USD each.

What do you need to do in order to win? Just be registered in our forums (http://www.digitalmediathoughts.com/forums/profile.php?mode=register), which is free.

Given that I've been halfway considering upgrading the laptop from XP Home to Pro anyway, this would be a way cool prize to win!

Of course, I'm just waiting for you to announce the 1DS MkII prize! :D

If I ever buy a laptop with Windows XP Home pre-installed, I will wonder why they didn't install Windows XP Pro instead... *hint, hint* ;)

Most of the home/student targeted laptops sold here have WinXP Home instead of Pro for some strange reason. I wonder why they even do so...

Hah! I wish. ;-) Maybe next year when the camera OEMs know who we are.

Knew it was wishful thinking, but definitely would be 'totally awesome' if it did happen.
