Indeed, if you're concerned solely with the economics of storage, the MuVo is hard to reconcile. But whereas the iPod merely plays audio files, the MuVo also plays and records FM radio, takes voice dictation, and slips more unobtrusively into a pocket than even the skinny Mini. Basically, the player's comparatively high price matches its design, as both are fit for executives."<br /><br /><img src="http://www.digitalmediathoughts.com/images/muvo.gif" /><br /><br />Looks like a sleek little MP3 player, though I do believe the price is a bit steep for a flash-based audio player. Would you pay this much for a flash player? Personally, I would rather spend $50 for an iPod Mini. However, I will say the FM tuner is an interesting feature. Apple needs to get on the stick. This is yet further proof the portable audio is evolving...and beginning offer products that are comparable to or <i>more innovative</i> than the iPod.

What would really sell me on this would be an expandable SD slot--- then it would really have an edge over the iPod in that it could boast 'infinite' storage. Although a card reader would perhaps add bulk, I think it would be a huge selling point if people thought it was upgradable..... but then the marketing thugs wouldn't be able to sell the next version up, since everyone would just 'expand' this version.

sigh.

That's because it's really slim. Saw one in action on the subway; I'd take this over the iPods if they were a bit cheaper.
