These two entry level compact digital cameras have an identical body design and appear to utilize the same lens but because of the different size of the CCD in each the DSC-S4 only achieves 2.8x optical zoom compared to the DSC-S3's 3.0x optical zoom. The DSC-S3's price works out at around US$300, the DSC-S4 at around $380."

I have never been a big Sanyo camera user myself but Sanyo does appear to have a strong line of cameras. I guess my only concern is the price they have set for their 3MP and 4MP cameras. I can currently get a Canon Powershot S410 for just around $350 so if Sanyo wants to make a dent in the point-and-shoot market, they will certainly have to start producing cameras for less. Hmm, perhaps the picture quality is amazing? Has anyone used Sanyo cameras before and had (good/bad) experiences?
