The idea behind OurPictures, which is set to conclude a three-month test of its service, is that subscribers can post pictures to a network of fellow subscribers who transfer the pictures directly from one computer to another."<br /><br />P2P for digital photography? Interesting idea, but why would users want to share their personal photo albums via P2P? I believe the web has proven to be the superior tool for photo sharing. Will this service take off? <br /><br />Visit <a href="http://www.ourpictures.com/">OurPictures web site</a>.

Hmm...I don't know, this is quite interesting. It's similar to what Hello does, but not quite. If you think about it, for the average Joe, it makes sense - most people don't have domains, Web sites, or have a clue how to resize images and upload them via FTP. Even email can be tricky when they send images that are far too big - there's something to be said for opening up your albums to family and friends without any special knowledge.
