I'm looking for some suggestions here: I want to compare the audio waveforms from two WMA files to seek out some answers. But I'm having a hard time finding a tool (preferably free or cheap) that will analyze two audio files and see if there are any differences in the frequencies. Any ideas?

If you have NERO it has a built in wave editor

It's not free to keep, but you can use the demo version of Adobe Audition (www.adobe.com/audition) for 30 days. It has a ton of audio analysis tools.

Cool, thanks. I have Cool Edit 2000, which might have some of the same tools - I was looking for a simpler, one-trick pony, but I'll look at the bigger tools I have now and see what works.

if you have a newer sound blaster it should come with a program to do this
or you could try sound forge
or acid pro or acid free (sound forge and acid can be downloaded from the sound forge corperate site)
